Come be Superheros with us! To celebrate the month of giving thanks, we will be giving back! At this month's brunch we will be creating blankets to donate to children and teens that are facing difficult times, through Project Linus. Your "entrance fee" for this event will be 2 pieces of 54in X 60in fleece! Together we will mix up colors and patterns, then cut and tie fringe along the edges to create "double layer" blankets! Project Linus asks that we make more "BOY" themed blankets, as they are always short, so we encourage you to find "boy" colors, patterns, and characters to bring. We would also appreciate it if you brought scissors, rulers, masking tape, and sharpies to share (you will get them back of course).
This is a Pot Luck brunch so bring a yummy dish to share! You may also bring you choice of Beer or Wine (No hard liquor).
Even though this is a free brunch and the cost of entry is your fleece we would still like you to register so we can keep an accurate headcount.
In addition to making blankets we will be going to see Thor: Ragnarok at the completion of the brunch. You will be responsible for purchasing your own ticket.
There will also be some great (and special) raffle prizes at this event so come prepared! (CASH ONLY)
